Key Responsibilities

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Genesis Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with outpatient clientsโ€”including individuals and families dealing with various mental health conditions. We prioritize a client-centered approach, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their treatment plans align with their personal goals and life circumstances.

Qualifications
  • Masterโ€™s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.
  • Currently licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) with an unrestricted and active status in the state of Colorado.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting, post-graduation.
  • Competence in using various computer systems and software (e.g., Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, PIMSY) for documentation, client management, and communication.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth settings, demonstrating knowledge of effective remote counseling techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and the ability to integrate them into client treatment.
  • Experience working with a diverse array of clients, tolerance of varying perspectives, and multicultural competencies.
