Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of clients, developing strong therapeutic relationships while upholding the highest professional ethics and boundaries.
• Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their progress, discuss stability, and determine appropriate timing for discharge when necessary.
• Design, implement, and assess personalized treatment plans focused on each client’s unique needs and goals.
• Ensure accurate documentation and progress notes for each client, adhering to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
• Perform thorough intake assessments that establish a foundational understanding of the client's mental health status and treatment needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Genesis Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with outpatient clients—including individuals and families dealing with various mental health conditions. We prioritize a client-centered approach, collaborating closely with clients to ensure their treatment plans align with their personal goals and life circumstances.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a closely related field.
• Currently licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) with an unrestricted and active status in the state of Colorado.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical outpatient setting, post-graduation.
• Competence in using various computer systems and software (e.g., Excel, RMS systems, Outlook, PIMSY) for documentation, client management, and communication.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telehealth settings, demonstrating knowledge of effective remote counseling techniques and tools.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and the ability to integrate them into client treatment.
• Experience working with a diverse array of clients, tolerance of varying perspectives, and multicultural competencies.

Compensation and Benefits

Genesis Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, aligning with your experience and expertise. We follow a fee-for-service model, guaranteeing rates that are paid ahead of collections, ensuring financial stability for our counselors. Additional benefits include:
