Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - ABA Therapist

At Alight Behavioral Therapy, we provide personalized, in-home ABA therapy and autism evaluations, all designed to help children on the autism spectrum reach their full potential. We're seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - ABA Therapist to join our team of compassionate professionals.

About the Role:

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - ABA Therapist, you will provide one-on-one ABA therapy sessions to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in their homes. Your expertise will help our clients overcome behavioral and communication challenges, and achieve their unique goals. You will work closely with our experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide ABA therapy sessions to clients in their homes, under the supervision of our BCBAs

  • Implement behavioral interventions and strategies to address client goals and challenges

  • Collect and record data on client progress, as part of our ongoing assessment and evaluation process

  • Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families

  • Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to company protocols and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire date

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education) or currently pursuing a degree

  • 0-2 years of experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities

  • Ability to work effectively in a home-based setting and adapt to changing environments

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
