Up to $28.50/hr | Flexible Scheduling | Strong BCBA Support | Center, Home & Community Opportunities
Sunflower Development Center is hiring passionate Behavior Technicians (BTs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with autism while working in a supportive, collaborative, and clinically focused environment.
Unlike many ABA organizations, we prioritize quality over quantity. Our team receives consistent BCBA support, ongoing training, and opportunities to grow professionally. We focus on meaningful outcomes that improve quality of life for children and families, not just checking boxes.
Whether you are an experienced RBT or looking to start a career in ABA, we provide the training, mentorship, and clinical support needed to help you succeed.
Why Join Sunflower?
  • Competitive pay up to $28.50/hour
  • Flexible full-time and part-time schedules
  • Consistent BCBA supervision and support
  • Paid RBT training and certification support
  • Opportunities for advancement into Lead RBT, Trainer, and Clinical Support roles
  • Collaborative team culture where your voice matters
  • Beautiful center-based environment with additional home and community opportunities
  • Ongoing training in evidence-based practices including NDBI, PRT, NET, and ESDM-informed approaches
  • Work with children who are making meaningful progress and families who value your support
What You'll Do
  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism spectrum disorder
  • Implement individualized treatment plans developed by a BCBA
  • Teach communication, social, play, adaptive living, and daily living skills
  • Support behavior reduction programs using positive and evidence-based approaches
  • Collect accurate session data and complete documentation
  • Collaborate closely with BCBAs, Speech-Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and caregivers
  • Help children build independence and meaningful life skills
What We're Looking For
  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification preferred
  • BT candidates welcome; training available
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Background in ABA, education, psychology, special education, childcare, human services, or related fields is a plus
  • Reliable, professional, and compassionate individuals
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to receive coaching and implement feedback
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working with children, values collaboration, wants ongoing mentorship, and is passionate about helping children develop communication, social, and independence skills. We are looking for team members who care about doing great clinical work and want to grow with our organization.
About Sunflower Development Center
Sunflower Development Center is a multidisciplinary pediatric practice providing ABA, Speech Therapy, and Occupational Therapy services. We utilize naturalistic, play-based, and developmentally appropriate interventions to help children thrive across home, school, community, and center environments.
Our mission is simple: provide exceptional care, support families, and create meaningful outcomes that improve quality of life.
Apply today to join a team that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and compassionate care.
