Job description

Job Title: Radiography Instructor
Campus: El Paso, TX
Inspire the Next Generation of Imaging Technologists
Pima Medical Institute is seeking a passionate and ARRT-registered radiologic technologist to join our El Paso campus as a Radiography Instructor. This is a hands-on teaching role perfect for a professional who is eager to step out of the clinic and into the classroom to mentor aspiring students. What You Will Do:
As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for:
  • Delivering Engaging Instruction: Prepare and teach dynamic lessons in radiographic procedures, imaging principles, and lab techniques.
  • Guiding Student Growth: Monitor student progress, provide academic advising, and evaluate performance in both classroom and lab settings.
  • Ensuring Program Excellence: Help maintain our program's high standards by actively participating in curriculum development and accreditation processes.
  • Supporting Student Success: Manage student attendance, support externship coordination, and employ strategies to help students achieve their goals.
What You Will Bring:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • Current ARRT (R) registration in good standing.
  • Current Texas state radiologic technology license (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in diagnostic radiography.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualification:
  • Prior teaching or precepting experience is a plus, but a passion for mentoring is essential.
