Purely Driven.Position SummaryOur factory in Crete, Nebraska stands as one of the largest manufacturers in the area and one of the largest wet pet food manufacturing facilities in the U.S. Together, we proudly produce over one thousand tons of pet food per day, including renowned brands such as Alpo, Nestl Purina ONE, Pro Plan, Friskies, and Nestl Purina Veterinary Diets. We also do our part to care for the environment, like conserving water, investing in renewable electricity, and maintaining zero waste for disposal. You will enjoy competitive weekly pay, shift differential eligibility, overtime pay, up to 7% quarterly bonus, full health benefits, 401k match, a union pension, paid time off, excellent maternity/paternity leave and so much more!As a Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems, which will include facilities, unloading, processing, packing and warehouse operations. You will troubleshoot and repair both mechanical and electrical equipment. Working in a safe manner at all times, you will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventative maintenance.Maintenance of plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentationTroubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCsUse test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulatorsRepair gear reducers, belt and screw conveyors, chain elevators, and packaging equipmentMaintain wastewater system, boiler operations, cooling towers, and general building needsComplete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collectionRequirements6+ months of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, technical, warehouse, industrial, military, or related environment OR a 2-year technical degree completedOtherMust be willing to work nights and weekendsDon?t meet all the qualifications listed under other ?
