Position Overview

We are seeking a Diesel Mechanic Technician (A-Level) for both shop and mobile technician roles. This position offers a competitive pay rate of up to $48.00 per hour, with flexible scheduling options available.

Work Schedule
  • Standard shop hours: Monday – Friday | 8 AM – 5 PM
  • Flexible scheduling options available outside of standard hours
  • Optional weekend hours for additional earnings
Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks
  • Perform preventive maintenance and complex component repairs
  • Conduct Federal Annual Vehicle DOT Inspections (FMCSA compliant)
  • Troubleshoot and repair air brake, electrical, and emission systems
  • Utilize industry-standard diagnostic systems, including:
    • Diagnostic Link 8
    • Eaton Service Ranger 4
    • Bendix ACom
    • Meritor WABCO Toolbox
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment
  • Represent the organization with pride at all times
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a diesel technician (required)
  • Journey-level mechanic experience is preferred
  • CDL-A and ASE Certifications are preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong skills in diagnostics and electrical troubleshooting
  • Mechanical aptitude with both gas and diesel engines
  • Familiarity with OSHA safety best practices
Additional Requirements
  • Work authorization in the United States
  • Proficiency in English
  • Willingness to relocate to Indianapolis before the start date (if applicable)
  • This is an in-person position; remote work is not available
Work Environment

Work will primarily involve heavy-duty trucks, with responsibilities in both shop and commercial fleet support, as well as mobile field service capabilities.
