Permanent Physician – Neonatology

Position Type: Permanent
Specialty: Physician – Neonatology
Location: Kentucky
Rate: Open & Negotiable
Shift: Daytime clinical coverage (exact hours not stated)

Position Details:
  • Patient Population: Neonates / NICU / Newborn Nursery
  • Setting: Level III NICU (Hospital-based)
  • Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive neonatal care; manage newborn nursery; participate in daytime coverage and home-based night call; perform neonatal procedures; collaborate with Neonatologists and NNPs
  • Required Procedures: Neonatal procedures and critical care management

    EMR System: 
  • Support Staff: 2 Neonatologists, 2 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners, 24/7 in-house NNP coverage
  • Days Per Month: Full-time schedule
  • On-Call/Weekends: Home night call; weekend coverage as part of call rotation

Submission Requirements:

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
  • Kentucky Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
  • NPDB Self Query (within 30 days)
  • DEA prior to start
