SUNY Cobleskill is seeking qualified, capable, and enthusiastic adjunct instructors to teach animal science courses. Courses may include, but are not limited to:
  • ANSC 111x- Introduction to Animal Science Lab
  • ANSC 117/117x- Introduction to Livestock Production and Lab
  • ANSC 124/124x- Poultry Science Production and Lab
  • ANSC 212/212x- Dairy Cattle Management and Lab
  • ANSC 318/318x- Sheep and Goat Production and Lab
  • ANSC 320/320x- Swine Production and Lab
  • ANSC 418/418x- Advanced Beef Production and Lab

Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Animal Science
  • Experience with livestock, dairy, or poultry production
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk measurable distances
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous, successful college teaching experience
  • Laboratory teaching experience
  • Master's degree or higher in Animal Science, Agricultural Education or similar
Additional Information:
  • We currently have openings for the January 2025 (spring) semester and onward.
  • These courses will meet in-person and will utilize our on campus farm, which is just steps away from our classroom spaces
  • Courses run on a 15-week academic calendar
  • This position is part-time and temporary
