Description
Athletic Trainer
Full-time (36-40 hours/week). Monday-Saturday day and evening shifts.
Sakakawea Medical Center is looking for an athletic trainer to provide coverage for local high school athletic programs. Duties are based on the needs of the school and its athletic programs. The athletic trainer will be present at home athletic events and practices and shall attend other post-season and home-hosted events as directed by the Rehab Director and/or Athletic Director.
Requirements
Must be a graduate of an accredited Athletic Training program. Must hold or be eligible for a ND athletic training license.
Must be able to produce appropriate written/dictated documentation of athlete encounters. Must possess excellent communication skills to explain/direct management of athletic injuries. Must be able to interact with athletes, coaches, and families in a positive manner. Able to assist injured athletes' patients/clients in functional movement to return to prior level of function.
