TENAX Technologies, LLC is seeking experienced Full Stack Java Developers to support mission-critical Information Technology services for the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI). These are full-time, onsite positions requiring an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Selected candidates will design, develop, deploy, and sustain secure, scalable Java-based enterprise applications supporting national security missions within a DevSecOps-driven environment. This role is ideal for developers with strong expertise in Java enterprise application development, modern front-end frameworks, API integration, and secure software delivery within classified DoD environments.
Location

Responsibilities include designing secure application architectures, developing RESTful services and APIs, building responsive user interfaces, integrating with mission systems, and supporting deployment pipelines in secure environments.
This position emphasizes Java full stack development, secure coding, CI/CD automation, and compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements. • Develop robust back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, Hibernate/JPA, and RESTful API architectures
  • Build and enhance front-end interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or similar technologies
  • Develop and optimize relational database solutions using Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and SQL query tuning
  • Design and implement microservices-based architectures and secure API integrations across enterprise platforms
  • Support DevSecOps pipelines including automated builds, testing, code quality validation, vulnerability scanning, and deployments
  • Implement secure coding practices aligned with DoD cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and vulnerability remediation processes
  • Integrate applications with cloud services, enterprise platforms, and mission-critical intelligence data sources
  • Troubleshoot application defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues across front-end and back-end systems
  • Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, code reviews, backlog refinement, and release planning
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, API documentation, deployment guides, and configuration management artifacts

Required Qualifications
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
  • DoD IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, or equivalent)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in full stack software development with strong emphasis on Java application development
  • Strong proficiency in:
    • Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Framework
    • RESTful web services and API development
    • Front-end development using JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React
    • SQL development using Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar platforms
  • Experience working in a DevSecOps environment, including CI/CD pipeline implementation and sustainment
  • Familiarity with source control and configuration management tools such as Git, GitLab, or GitHub
  • Experience with secure coding standards, application security, and vulnerability remediation

Desired Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, or containerized application deployments
  • Experience supporting RMF, system accreditation, and Authority to Operate (ATO) processes
  • Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or DoD cloud environments
  • Experience with message brokers, event-driven architecture, and enterprise integration patterns
  • Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and test-driven development (TDD)
  • Prior experience supporting Office of Naval Intelligence, DoD, or Intelligence Community mission systems
