Job description
Job Title
Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
Top Skills Needed/Required- UI test automation using Kotlin, Java, Appium and SauceLabs
- API test Automation using Java + TestNG + Rest Assured with Cucumber and Postman
- 6 + yrs of experience with Native Mobile App UI test automation using Kotlin, Java, Appium and SauceLabs
- 3 + yrs of experience with API test Automation using Java, TestNG, RestAssured with Cucumber and Postman
- Must have experience with execution of automated tests in Jenkins pipeline with SauceLabs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, self-starter, quick learner in agile environments.
- Work experience in Retail domain is added plus.
- Motivated individual matching the desired skill set, quick proactive learner and responsible individual.
- Understand business requirements and domain by manual walkthrough of the UI flows of features in the current automation backlog. Automate existing backlog of features using Kotlin, Java, Appium and Saucelabs. Maintain existing automated UI flows, debug failures and fix them, regularly run them using CI/CD pipeline. Attend various meetings, daily standups and effectively articulate daily update as tangible results and communicating blockers/issues
- Effectively participate in planning meetings and backlog grooming sessions. Participate in production bug triage, learn means to effectively debug issues and assist dev team with inputs.
Help catch up current UI automation backlog and contribute in near term while extend to API/Backend automation testing in long term.
What Is The Makeup Of The Team?Team is spread across multiple locations and geographies.
Does The Candidate Need To Be In A Certain Client Location/Hub Or Remote?Yes in Reston (preferred) or Bentonville
Will A Client Badge Be Needed At Onset Or In The Future?Yes, to get access to Client office facility.
