Valve and Automation Sales Support Representative: Theodore, AL or Clarksville, TN

We are searching for an associate ready to step into a Valve Automation Sales Support role and become an integral part of the Valve Automation team.

This role is for Valve Automation Sales Support.This associate will report directly to our Engineered Products Team Manager and will spend time learning our V&A business while completing quotations. This associate will primarily be quoting Valve Automation work to grow their foundation of V&A products but will also engage in more of our Engineered Products overtime. This job requires you to be in Virginia or North Carolina to be within proximity of our Engineered Products Team.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Mid-Atlantic Inside & Outside Sales team. Internal and External customers
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while learning the Valve Automation business
  • Size Actuators, Control Valves, Accessories, & build out Valve Automation quotations daily
  • Interact and develop relationships with key vendors to support sales
  • Work with all associates in the district to support our V&A products. Be a team player
  • Form solid relationships to establish trust with entire district to work seamlessly together
  • Willingness to learn and train continually. Specific to Valve Automation products

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of sales and/or customer service experience is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of Valve & Automation sales knowledge preferred
  • There is a strong preference for this associate to be proficient in Trilogie prior to applying for this role. This is a development role where the V&A team will invest in your success. The team will teach you everything you need to know about Valve Automation.
  • Strong attention to detail & high aptitude for learning quickly
  • A high level of integrity when problem solving
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Ability to efficiently operate computers, tablets and mobile devices
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
