Job Summary:

Texas Farm Bureau Insurance in Denton and Lewisville is seeking Insurance Agents to join our growing team. The primary responsibility of this agent role is specific to the generation of new clients for our insurance products and services. Specifically, you would serve an existing client base and generate new prospective clients to help them understand our full scope and reach of agency products and services.

Insurance Agent Responsibilities

  • Marketing and lead generation
  • Qualification of prospective leads
  • Initial prospect contact
  • Building client files
  • Creating sales presentations and proposals
  • Identifying cross sell opportunities
  • Successfully executing a pre-determined number of sales calls
  • Completing full fact-finding interviews on perspective and existing clients
  • Shadowing and participating in calls, visits, and presentations
  • Successfully signing new clients and products to obtain quotas

Insurance Agent Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Goal and action oriented, with ability and desire to work towards activity and sales targets
  • High level of comfort with outreach directly to perspective clients
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to engage an audience and one on one
  • Persistence, drive and ability to work proactively
  • Team player and team spirited

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
