Job description

INTEGRATED CO-OCCURRING (ICT) THERAPIST - $3000 SIGNING BONUS!


Provide quality behavioral health care for children and families in Summit County most in need!

As an Integrated Co-Occurring Therapist , you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate, POSITIVE impact by working directly with children and adolescents who have significant behavioral health and/or substance use issues and needs. This position provides intensive in-home and community-based services to a small caseload, with the goal of keeping children and adolescents out of residential treatment placements and addressing emotional and behavioral issues in the natural family setting. Services include assessments, individual and family counseling, co-occurring disorders evaluations and treatment, CPST services, and crisis intervention as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide intensive therapy services for mental health disorders and substance use to a small case load (5-6 clients) in their homes and in the community.
  • Collaborate with clients to create and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide connections with community resources as appropriate.
  • Regularly engage with the Center for Innovative Practices through Case Western Reserve University as part of fidelity requirements for the ICT program.
  • Coordinate with Summit County providers, including Juvenile Court, Children’s Services, Akron Children’s Hospital, and Ohio.
  • Provide on-call services, following a team rotation, managing any crises that occur.


Required Qualifications:


  • LSW, LPC, LISW or LPCC licensure required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • Experience providing therapy to children and families preferred.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of effective behavioral intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
