CDL-A Local Shuttle Driver - Good Pay + Bonus | Home Daily
Earn $70,000 average annual gross pay on a dedicated shuttle route hauling frozen groceries between distribution and relay yards. Enjoy daily home time, no-touch drop-and-hook freight, and a $5,000 bonus.

  • Average Weekly Pay: $1,400

Job Details
  • Shuttle frozen groceries in reefer trailers
  • Shuttle between Westfield, MA and relay yards in Milford or West Haven, CT
  • No-touch, drop-and-hook shuttle freight
  • 5-10 shuttles per day, with a minimum of 3 required
  • May include store transfers, trailer moves, and local backhauls
  • No NYC deliveries
  • Store deliveries may involve 2-3 stops and electric pallet jack unloading
  • May assist other nearby accounts as needed
Shift Details
  • Sunday-Thursday
  • Start time: approximately 3 PM-4 PM
  • Approximately 500 miles/week
  • Home Daily
  • 6th day required during mandatory holiday periods, potentially for 3 consecutive weeks
  • Drivers work scheduled holidays unless the account is closed
  • Thanksgiving and Christmas off; New Year's Day not guaranteed
Job Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 3 months of verifiable CDL-A experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Valid DOT Medical Card
  • No SAP drivers
  • Reliable personal transportation to and from work daily
  • Ability to perform pre-trip inspections and inspect tractor/trailer tires
  • Strong safety and customer service skills
