Freight Forwarding Human Resources (Recruiting) Administrator

We cater logistics strategies and processes to our customers' needs by utilizing the latest information systems and advanced technologies.

Freight Forwarding Human Resources (Recruiting) Administrator is responsible for ensuring alignment of business objectives between employees and management. This role is responsible for recruiting execution and workforce operation control, ensuring staffing readiness, accurate manpower visibility, and disciplined coordination of HR processes, rather than serving as a pure recruiting or administrative position.

Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition Execution & Staffing Delivery
    • Lead facility-level recruiting execution to fulfill approved manpower requirements, working closely with operations leaders to confirm hiring needs, priorities, and timelines
    • Proactively identify staffing gaps and recruiting bottlenecks and drive corrective actions to meet operational demands Workforce planning, headcount & organizational control
  • Employee Relations & Risk Governance
    • Identify emerging legal, compliance, or reputation risks through structured reporting and proactively recommend escalation to HQHR or Legal when warranted
    • Ensure consistent interpretation and application of company policies and relevant federal/state labor regulations across entities, supported by governance reporting and audit routines
  • Performance Management Operations & Governance
    • Providing leadership with reporting that highlights risk, trends, and calibration inconsistencies
    • Maintain disciplined performance documentation, implement audit-ready reporting standards, and ensure governance compliance across all performance-related processes
  • Facility-Level Talent Acquisition Oversight & Closure
    • Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities through the finalization and closure stage, ensuring hiring processes are executed consistently, efficiently, and aligned with organizational standards and metrics
    • Conduct analytical review of role requirements, candidate assessments, and hiring recommendations, ensuring documented rationale and alignment with enterprise talent strategy
    • Collaborate with the HR Supervisor to identify and mitigate recruiting bottlenecks through data-driven reporting, while ensuring alignment with workforce planning priorities
    • Ensure all recruitment activities adhere to internal guidelines and support a consistent, measurable, and high-quality candidate experience
  • Employee Communication
    • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to enhance transparency, engagement, and awareness among employees about company initiatives, changes, and expectations
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized records of employee relations cases, investigations, and outcomes
    • On-site culture building support

Compensation: $63,000 - $69,000 Per Year (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selected)

Education & Experience:

  • HS Diploma/GED Required
    • Bachelor Degree Required
  • 5 - 8 Years of Direct Experience Required in Human Resources
    • 6 - 9 Years of Direct Experience Preferred
  • PHR/SCHRM-CP Preferred
