Job description

Electrical Engineer (Akron, OH)
Job Summary:
The Electrical Engineer will use REVIT and AutoCAD to design electrical systems, lighting layouts, and power systems for various project types.
In this role, you will:
  • Perform basic electrical engineering calculations and analysis
  • Layout and design electrical distribution
  • Develop lighting and lighting controls designs
  • Design emergency power systems
  • Design systems in accordance with the NEC and IECC
  • Design projects from conceptual design to completion with appropriate supervision
  • Collaborate electrical system requirements with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines
  • Perform construction administration responsibilities including submittal reviews, responding to contractor RFIs, and troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues during construction phases
  • Assist in project management for engineering disciplines

You will be a great fit if:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field

  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Location: Akron, OH (On-site)
Compensation Range: $75K - $90K USD per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
