Job description

The Department of Psychiatry has an exciting opportunity for full-time, board-certified, or board-eligible adult psychiatrists to join our growing psychiatric team. The department is recruiting for an outpatient psychiatrist at South Providence Psychiatry Clinic or Battle Avenue Psychiatry Clinic.

Outpatient care is provided at two locations: South Providence Psychiatry and Battle Avenue Psychiatry Clinic. We also offer several specialized treatments at our Interventional Psychiatry Clinic, such as Electronic convulsive therapy (ECT), Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Cranial Electrostimulation (CES), intranasal ketamine for treating refractory depression, and inpatient postpartum depression treatment.

The Department of Psychiatry at the University of Missouri is dedicated to the treatment of patients, education of learners and research into mental illness.
