Job description

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Teamwork: Ability to work well in collaborative environments with multidisciplinary teams.

The Cybersecurity Student handles defining and helping evolve the Cyber Microsoft Teams structure for consolidation opportunities. This role ensures cybersecurity enterprise data is managed, controlled, and aligned to Cummins Cybersecurity requirements. While working on this effort, we expect the student to engage with Cybersecurity employees to define user needs and controls. This role reports to the Director of Information Protection & Resilience as part of the BISO.

Key Responsibilities

1. Microsoft Teams Framework Development

  • Establish and maintain Policies; Standards; Procedures; and Exception Management
  • Define data ownership and stewardship models.

2. Cyber Awareness & Culture

  • Promote a culture of MS Teams usage.
  • Lead the development of training and awareness programs.

Key Deliverables

  • MS Teams Framework for Cybersecurity Department
  • Data handling Standards
  • Data migration plans and key milestones.
  • Reporting Metrics
  • "How To" guides for Cybersecurity organization users.

Required Skills & Competencies

Core Competencies

  • Strong understanding of Microsoft tools.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age at the time of hiring
  • Current Enrollment: You must be a current student in high school or in a college/university interested in pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field.
  • Able to work up to 19 hours per week during the academic year
