This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a challenge, takes ownership of their work, and understands the important role maintenance plays in creating an exceptional living experience for our residents. If you're looking for a position where your skills are valued, your work makes a difference, and you can grow with a company that invests in its people, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
As a Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in preserving the appearance, safety, and functionality of our apartment community. Responsibilities include:
  • Complete resident service requests promptly, professionally, and with a customer-first attitude.
  • Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing quality make-readies on schedule.
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall, painting, flooring, and general carpentry issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance throughout the community.
  • Maintain the appearance and functionality of common areas, amenities, and grounds.
  • Assist with emergency maintenance and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager to prioritize daily work and achieve team goals.
  • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Deliver exceptional service while building positive relationships with residents and team members.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
  • At least 2 years of apartment maintenance experience preferred.
  • EPA Type II or Universal Certification strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, painting, and general maintenance.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
What We Offer
We value our team members and offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including:
  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience
  • Quarterly performance bonus opportunity
  • Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
  • Company-paid Life Insurance
  • Employer-paid Long-Term Disability
  • Voluntary Short-Term Disability, Accident, and Critical Illness Insurance
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Employee Apartment Discount (where applicable)
  • Ongoing training and opportunities for career growth and advancement
