Master Structural A&P Technician – Piston Aircraft


Location: Wichita, KS

Compensation & Benefits

Job Summary

Bring your structural expertise to a dynamic general aviation environment. You will lead airframe inspections, sheet metal fabrication, and composite repairs on a busy piston fleet, ensuring every aircraft meets strict FAA airworthiness standards and operational timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Execute complex structural modifications, fabrications, and airframe repairs in strict alignment with OEM and FAA guidelines

  • Assess, restore, and replace structural components, including composites and precision sheet metal

  • Analyze technical manuals, engineering schematics, and blueprint data to guide repair strategies

  • Perform a variety of routine and specialized maintenance duties as operational demands dictate

  • Document all completed structural work with absolute precision to guarantee full regulatory compliance

  • Partner with fellow technicians to uphold rigorous quality control and protect service schedules


Minimum Requirements

  • Active and valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate

  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience performing structural maintenance on aircraft (experience with Cessna, Piper, or Beechcraft piston platforms strongly preferred)

Ideal Qualifications

  • High-level proficiency with composite material repairs, riveting techniques, and sheet metal fabrication

  • Advanced ability to confidently read and decipher complex technical drawings and engineering directives

  • Exceptional attention to detail paired with an unwavering commitment to workplace safety protocols
