About the Role

Wayne's Automotive is hiring a Lead Technician / Shop Foreman to help run daily operations at our Warminster location.

This is a hands-on leadership position—you'll be responsible for both producing high-level work and leading the shop team to improve efficiency, workflow, and overall performance.

If you're already the go-to person in your shop—or ready to step into that role—this is your opportunity.

What You'll Do

  • Oversee daily shop workflow and technician productivity
  • Assign jobs effectively based on skill level
  • Perform advanced diagnostics and heavy line work (engines, transmissions, etc.)
  • Support and guide technicians to improve performance
  • Work closely with service advisors to keep operations running smoothly

Compensation Structure

  • Base salary + personal production bonus
  • Additional team performance bonus
  • Total earning potential: $80K–$120K+

What We're Looking For

  • 8+ years of professional automotive repair experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Leadership experience (formal or informal)
  • Ability to both produce and lead a team
  • Self-motivated and dependable

Preferred:

  • State inspection and emissions licenses
  • Experience mentoring or leading other technicians

Shop & Equipment

  • ~50 vehicles per week
  • Mix of Domestic (40%), Asian (40%), and European (20%)
  • Tekmetric shop management system
  • Digital inspections
  • Modern scan tools (Autel, Snap-on)
