Job description

Overview
Susquehanna International Group is seeking a Software Developer to join our newly formed Global Routing team. This team owns the electronic trading connectivity infrastructure that powers Susquehanna's client-facing brokerage business worldwide. You'll work on high-impact systems that handle order flow across major global markets, collaborating closely with trading, operations, and technology teams in our U.S., European, and Asian offices.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain systems that support electronic order routing across global markets and venues.
  • Build and enhance FIX connectivity for clients, brokers, exchanges, and internal systems.
  • Partner with business counterparts in Susquehanna's Europe and Asia offices to support international expansion and onboard new trading relationships.
  • Collaborate with traders, operations, developers, and external vendors to troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for scalable, reliable system design.
  • Document systems, workflows, and integration specifications clearly and thoroughly.

What we're looking for

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to debug complex, distributed systems.
  • Excellent communication skills - you're equally comfortable talking to a quant, a trader, or a client.
  • Familiarity with financial models or algorithmic trading strategies.
  • Experience with low-latency or high-throughput system design.
  • Prior work with connectivity to global exchanges or dark pools.
