Pan-Am Dental Laboratory is a full-service dental laboratory that partners with dental professionals to design and fabricate a wide range of dental restorations and appliances. With a focus on quality, consistency and clinical accuracy, Pan-Am Prides itself with happy patients and happy business partners.  Headquartered in Savannah, GA, Pan-Am Has two additional locations in Houston, TX and Sandy, UT – allowing us to serve a base of clients covering the entire country.

Position Summary

  • Accurately enter all incoming case information into the computer system and generate corresponding work tickets.
  • Assign proper coding to cases for data entry and workflow routing
  • Update and maintain computer work tickets, including placing cases on hold and adjusting dates, codes or other critical information as needed
  • Scan and electronically archive paperwork for each case in accordance with documentation protocols
  • Retrieve historical paperwork or case files as needed for case clarification, reworks, or reference
  • Organize and manage digital impressions and case records following established laboratory procedures
  • Continuously expand knowledge of dental terminology, restorative products, and laboratory processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Understand and follow the established case flow and scheduling operations
  • Perform additional duties or tasks as assigned to support team and laboratory operations
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Proficiency with computers, file management and applications
  • Able to pick up software programs (magic Touch) with ease
  • Have practical knowledge of customer service practices and principles
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Understand different script terminologies for case entry
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Can successfully multi-task
  • Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology preferred, but not required
Compensation & Benefits
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • Competitive pay that includes base pay and bonus structure
  • Medical insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
