Job description

Build Technician

Purpose

We are seeking a skilled Build Technician to join our high-performing Assembly Department. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on cabinetry or woodworking experience who are eager to expand their skills in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You’ll work with precision tools and a supportive team to assemble cabinets that exceed expectations.

Who You Are

You’re a motivated Build Technician with a solid foundation in cabinet assembly and woodworking, looking to join a high-performing team where your skills are valued and your career can grow. You take pride in producing precise, well-crafted cabinets, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You’re not just looking for another job—you want to be part of a company where craftsmanship, teamwork, and continuous improvement are part of the culture.

What You’ll Do

  • Assemble cabinet components using precision tools and industry-standard equipment.
  • Match colors to master samples and ensure consistent tone, clarity, and smoothness with each batch.
  • Inspect parts for quality, identify any surface or coating defects, and determine appropriate repair or rework steps.
  • Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
  • Collaborate with team members across your department to support production flow and improve overall assembly quality.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and your work area to ensure safety, efficiency, and product integrity.
  • Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes—we value technicians who think critically and take ownership.
  • Assist other areas or departments as needed to support overall production goals.

What You Bring

  • Prior assembly experience, ideally in cabinetry, furniture, or a manufacturing setting, is a plus. However, your eagerness to learn and strong work ethic are what truly matter. We're committed to providing comprehensive training for the right candidate.
  • Familiar with basic measurements and able to use a tape measure accurately.
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
  • Ability to safely use hand and power tools to assemble cabinet components and hardware.
  • A good eye for detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Why Bellmont

At Bellmont Cabinets, we don’t just build cabinets—we build careers. We invest in our people through training, advancement opportunities, and a collaborative environment where your skills make a real difference. You’ll join a team of professionals who are proud of what they do and passionate about craftsmanship.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Full health, dental, and vision coverage
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Career growth opportunities
  • A clean, safe, supportive work environment
