Residential Alarm System Installer (Custom Home Electronics)
Palm Beach Electronics - West Palm Beach, FL
Pay: $15-$20 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Full-time | Monday-Friday, 7:45am - 4:15pm (30-minute lunch)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Security System Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience installing and servicing security systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of DSC and Honeywell systems, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to deliver professional, customer-focused service. This role is key to ensuring our clients enjoy safe, secure, and reliable protection in their homes and businesses.
Responsibilities
- Install, program, and service DSC and Honeywell security systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair system issues efficiently.
- Perform system testing and ensure installations meet industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Uphold company standards of professionalism, safety, and quality.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with security system installation and service.
- Extensive knowledge of DSC and Honeywell systems.
- BASA/FASA certification is a plus.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be drug free and able to pass screenings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with others.
- Professional appearance and customer service mindset.
Compensation: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
