This full-time position requires a licensed and certified individual who will provide comprehensive healthcare services, including direct patient care, support in surgical procedures, and collaboration with healthcare teams. The annual salary ranges from USD 140,000 to 180,000, commensurate with experience, along with a complete benefits package.

Work Environment

The Surgical Center at Holy Cross Memorial is an onsite facility designed to provide a range of outpatient and inpatient surgical services. The work environment is dynamic and fast-paced, emphasizing the importance of collaboration with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nursing staff, and support personnel. You will work Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, and may occasionally extend hours to meet the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and gather medical histories to evaluate the physical and mental condition of patients pre- and post-surgery.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic studies to develop accurate assessments of patient health issues.
  • Prescribe medications and recommend therapeutic interventions while closely monitoring treatment effectiveness and patient safety.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians and the healthcare team to formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based guidelines.
  • Provide patient education about surgical procedures, recovery expectations, medication management, and lifestyle modifications to promote health and well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • Support surgical procedures by assisting surgeons in the operating room and performing designated tasks within the scope of practice.
  • Manage postoperative care and follow-up, addressing any complications and ensuring continuity of care.
  • Act as a resource and consultant for other healthcare providers, offering expertise in surgical care management.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and quality improvement initiatives to enhance surgical services and patient outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
