Job description

As a Psychiatric Registered Nurse at Milestone LLC, you will provide comprehensive nursing care to clients with mental health disorders. You will be responsible for conducting psychiatric assessments, developing and implementing nursing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring clients' mental and physical health status. Your role will also involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure that clients receive appropriate and holistic care throughout their treatment journey.

In this position, you will facilitate therapeutic groups and individual counseling sessions, provide education to clients and their families on mental health topics, and support clients in developing coping strategies. You will maintain accurate documentation of nursing interventions, client progress, and outcomes while adhering to ethical standards and best practices in psychiatric nursing.

May include any and/or all of the following:

1.       Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state

2.       Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

3.       Experience in psychiatric or mental health nursing

4.       Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and medication management

5.       Strong assessment and critical thinking skills

6.       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

7.       Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

8.       Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in psychiatric nursing.

9.       Maintain license and/or certification.

10.   Provide consultation to supervisors; performs other duties as assigned.

11.   Complete and submit initial prior authorizations and continued stay reports.

12.   Submit prior authorizations and continued stay reports in Notable.

13.   Facilitate clinical training to employees on a monthly basis.
