Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide comprehensive care to a diverse patient population continuously building your education and experience. Every day you will perform patient assessments, administer medications, manage complex care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, adapting to rapidly changing needs in a fast-paced environment. To be successful in this role, you will possess an enthusiastic, patient-first mindset, keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency, thriving in a dynamic clinical setting where no two days are alike.

  • Observes, collects, and records data related to patient's biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, and self-care ability, as well as educational and discharge planning needs.
  • Analyzes assessment data to formulate a nursing diagnosis.
  • Implements an age appropriate plan of care.
  • Documents and utilizes patient data to measure progress toward attainment of patient outcomes and patient goals.
  • Effectively manages and utilizes sophisticated equipment.
  • Coordinates care given by other disciplines to ensure that the patient's care needs are met and progress toward goals is attained.

Required

  • Oregon RN License
  • AHA BLS within 30 days
  • ACLS within 6 months
  • PALS within 12 months
  • One (1) year OR circulating experience
