Registered Nurse (RN) - Interventional Radiology (IR)

The Registered Staff Nurse (RN) provides holistic care to patients and their families. This role emphasizes independent, collaborative, and delegated nursing functions as outlined in the standards and competencies specific to the assigned service area. The RN’s scope of practice includes caring for individuals across all age groups, including neonates, infants, children, young adults, adults, and older adults.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute the Standards of Nursing Practice, including assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Develop and revise patient care plans, coordinating care among disciplines and delegating tasks to other care providers as appropriate.
  • Participate in shared accountability and decision-making for nursing practices.
  • Actively engage in improving practice standards and the environment of care, promoting exceptional patient care.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of critical care experience in Emergency Department (ED) or Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - Required
  • Experience in Interventional Radiology Nursing - Required
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC - Required
  • Experience with adult patient populations - Required
  • Epic software experience - Preferred
  • Experience with stroke patients - Preferred
Work Schedule
  • 10-hour shifts may be considered if 8-hour shifts are a deal breaker, with a guaranteed 40-hour workweek.
  • Weekends are not required.
  • 1-2 call shifts every two weeks may be required.
Certification Requirements
  • ACLS, BLS certifications are mandatory.
Licensing Requirements
  • Valid nursing license in the state of Minnesota is required.
