Holiday Market - Experienced Cake Decorator Needed!

You will play a key role in producing visually stunning, high-quality cakes and desserts while supporting the daily operations of our fast-paced bakery department. This position focuses on precision, creativity, and efficiency to ensure every product meets our standards for excellence and customer satisfaction.

We are seeking a cake decorator with at least 1–2 years of experience. This is a high-production environment where attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, and other bakery items according to customer requests and store standards.

• Create custom designs for birthdays, weddings, holidays, and special occasions.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

• Assist with baking, packaging, and displaying finished products.

• Take customer orders and provide friendly, knowledgeable service.

• Manage inventory of decorating supplies and ingredients.

• Collaborate with the bakery team to develop new designs and seasonal offerings.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a cake decorator or in a similar bakery role.

• Knowledge of various decorating techniques (buttercream, fondant, piping, etc.).

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Weekends and holidays are mandatory as they are Holiday Market's busiest times.
