Hoffmaster Group, Inc. is hiring full-time Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing team in Clintonville, WI.
No experience required - we provide paid training in a clean, safety-first environment.

Location: Clintonville, Wisconsin
Shift: Days | 2-2-3 Rotating Schedule
Pay Range: $28.00 - $33.00 per hour (Based on experience/qualifications)
Primary Purpose of the Role
Perform all facets of maintenance, repair, installation, troubleshooting, and modification of company equipment, buildings, and grounds. This position supports manufacturing operations by maintaining equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and contributing to a safe and efficient work environment.
How you will make an Impact:
  • Perform product and grade changeovers on machine centers, including Flexographic Printing Presses, Converting Folders, Formers, packaging equipment, and conveyor systems.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair a variety of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance activities on equipment and facility systems according to established schedules.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate maintenance records, including preventive maintenance documentation, work orders, labor tracking, and spare parts inventory.
  • Perform equipment installations, upgrades, modifications, rebuilds, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and control systems.
  • Support or lead maintenance projects from planning through completion, depending on experience and skill level.
  • Train, mentor, and support team members as needed.
  • Maintain equipment reliability while minimizing production downtime.
  • Follow all GMP and SQF requirements and report any food safety concerns to supervision.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment.

The Essentials:
Candidates will be considered based on a combination of experience, technical aptitude, education, certifications, and demonstrated maintenance skills.
Optional but Impressive:
  • Ramsey Maintenance Test score of 50 or higher and/or related maintenance experience.
  • Three or more years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.
  • Associate degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, Electronics, Robotics, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to demonstrate fabrication, machining, welding, equipment rebuilding, and machine upgrades.
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and power transmission systems.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, Servo Motion systems, or industrial controls is a plus.
  • Industrial electrician experience and/or electrical licensing is a plus.
  • Proficient with shop tools, fabrication equipment, diagnostic devices, and measuring instruments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and communicate technical information effectively.
  • Ability to work alternate shifts as needed for vacation coverage, vacancies, or business demands.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work in an industrial manufacturing environment for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working at varying heights and around moving machinery.
