Job description

The Deck and Patio Company LLC, a family-oriented luxury outdoor living space contractor in the Greater Houston area, is seeking a motivated and confident Construction/Pool Salesperson. This role focuses on pool sales as part of creating complete outdoor destinations, working exclusively with company-provided leads—no cold calling or door-to-door sales. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in sales, a passion for exceptional customer service, and a drive to turn client dreams into reality.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial consultations with company-provided client leads
  • Design pool and outdoor living environments tailored to client needs
  • Prepare detailed bids and presentation materials for projects
  • Request permits from city or HOA authorities as necessary
  • Create and submit client reports, bids, and other tasks promptly
  • Utilize software platforms including Microsoft Office, Buildertrend, Quickbooks, Moasure, and CRM tools
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and demonstrate strong sales negotiation skills
  • Maintain scheduling flexibility to accommodate client availability across the Greater Houston area using a company vehicle
  • Use measurement tools and apply basic geometry for project dimensions
  • Manage documentation and communications with high organization and attention to detail

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of five years sales experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM software
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong negotiation, customer service, time management, and critical thinking skills
  • Attention to detail and understanding of basic geometry
  • Previous sales experience in high-ticket or industry/pool sales preferred
