Job Title: Production Technician 

Location: 100 Nagog Park, Acton Massachusetts 01720

Shift: Monday to Thursday (6am - 6:30pm)
Job Summary

  • We are seeking an Manufacturing Technician to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot highly automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced medical device production environment.
  • The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills, and experience with automated manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, troubleshoot, and perform basic preventive maintenance on automated equipment.
  • Monitor equipment through HMIs and clear machine faults/stoppages.
  • Perform inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic repairs.
  • Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify tolerances.
  • Support quality, production, inventory, and documentation requirements.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical/process issues and assist with root cause analysis.
  • Follow GMPs, SOPs, safety requirements, and cleanroom procedures.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with production and cross-functional teams.
  • Support new product introduction, equipment validation, and process improvement activities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with automated equipment, HMIs, machine troubleshooting, and maintenance.
  • Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Medical device, cleanroom, robotics, or discrete assembly experience preferred.
  • Experience with laser welding, heat staking, ultrasonic welding, PCB handling/testing, or automated assembly is a plus.
  • Ability to read technical documentation and communicate effectively in English.
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
