POSITION SUMMARY A growing national company is seeking individuals to join a team of professional home inspectors. The ideal candidate is detail- oriented, articulate, outgoing, personable, and presentable, and follows our standard process to complete an accurate, thorough quality home inspection and detailed report. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES The inspector is required to have a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements and is expected to work in various weather conditions, climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time. Solid computer technology skills are necessary for report writing and communications. The ideal candidate stays current on latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures, while continually developing advanced technical knowledge in building science. Punctuality, the ability to work independently and a strong work ethic are also required. Salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Travel to home inspection site
  • Suggest possible improvements, maintenance issues and defects
  • Review home with client with a thorough walk through
  • Inspect plumbing and electrical for violations
  • Keep daily logs, write up reports and take photographs and videos
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
  • 2+ years of construction, real estate, or home repair experience (suggested)
  • Customer service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
  • Physically fit for climbing ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl spaces and attics, and stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • May be required to enter homes that contain allergens such as pets, dust, mold, or other
