Job description

We are looking for a strong HL7 engineer with hands-on Cloverleaf experience who can independently handle interface development, testing, and client coordination. The work involves building, testing, and deploying HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM, MDM, DFT, BAR) between client EMRs (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.) and the Solventum coding platform via Cloverleaf.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain HL7 interfaces (ADT, ORU, ORM, MDM, DFT, BAR) using Cloverleaf.
  • Perform message mapping, transformations (Xlates), routing, and filtering as per client and Solventum requirements.
  • Lead end-to-end testing (Unit, Integration, UAT, Production validation) across multiple client interfaces.
  • Analyze and resolve HL7 data issues (missing fields, segment errors, mapping gaps, duplicates).
  • Work closely with client teams and vendors (e.g., Solventum) for interface validation and issue resolution.
  • Support production deployments, hypercare, and troubleshooting.
  • Ensure adherence to playbook standards, documentation, and reusable interface patterns.
  • Participate in client calls, provide updates, and take ownership of assigned interfaces.
Required Qualifications

The objective is to ensure clean, standardized data flow, support end-to-end testing and production readiness, and enable scalable onboarding of multiple hospital clients with consistent quality and timelines.
