Description
CenCore is seeking an Operations Program Manager to support secure operations initiatives for a customer program. This role is responsible for managing assigned projects from planning through execution, developing operational reports and insights, supporting process improvement efforts, and creating clear documentation and communications for security operations stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a remote work environment. This position requires strong written communication skills, sound judgment, project management experience, and the ability to translate operational information into clear reports, procedures, job aids, and leadership updates.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage assigned security operations projects from planning through execution, tracking progress, deliverables, risks, and outcomes.
  • Collect, compile, analyze, and distribute operational data related to security operations, projects, site startups, and program initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations that help leadership understand operational risks, impacts, trends, and action items.
  • Identify, recommend, and support strategic projects that improve processes, reduce risk, and strengthen operational consistency.
  • Analyze the impact of proposed operational changes and present findings to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Create, update, and maintain procedural documentation, job aids, internal guidance, and other operational support materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure documentation is accurate, clear, and appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Draft and distribute operational communications, including bulletins, updates, and supplemental guidance for security personnel.
  • Support audits, reviews, and follow-up activities related to security operations processes and documentation.
  • Document internal business practices to promote consistency, continuity, and compliance.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and at least 3 years of operations-related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the role, as determined by the company.
  • 3 to 5 years of project management experience.
    โ€ข Top Secret clearance requested.
    โ€ข Active U.S. Passport Book required by the customer.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Project, Visio, and SharePoint.
  • Strong written communication skills, including the ability to write clear, accurate, and audience-appropriate content.
  • Ability to analyze operational information, identify risks or impacts, and communicate findings clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholder needs in a remote work environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project management certification, such as Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), Project Management Professional (PMP), or similar credential.
  • Experience supporting security operations, government contracts, cleared programs, or mission-critical operational environments.
  • Experience developing procedures, job aids, operational communications, reports, or audit-support documentation.
  • Proficiency with automation tools, such as Power Automate.
  • Proficiency with data visualization or reporting tools, such as Power BI.
  • Experience working with SharePoint, Visio, Microsoft Project, or similar tools to support documentation, project tracking, workflows, or reporting.
