Bay Atlantic University hires qualified candidates to fill positions that contribute to the overall strategic success of the University.
Position Description:
Bay Atlantic University is seeking highly qualified applicants for the following undergraduate/graduate level programs:
Preferred qualification : Masters or Doctorate in History
Acceptable with approved equivalency : History related graduate coursework, historical research or interdisciplinary preparation demonstrating substantial historical expertise
The Adjunct teaching instructor will provide instruction across multiple areas and will be required to:
โ€ข Prepare lecture content;
โ€ข Utilize a variety of teaching strategies to deliver the course content;
โ€ข Engage in assessing student learning and advising students at the undergraduate level;
โ€ข Collaborate with colleagues;
โ€ข Continue professional development in scholarship, teaching, community service;
โ€ข Demonstrate expertise and knowledge of the course content.
This position requires all coursework to use the University's educational platform to promote the advancement of technological enhancements in teaching. The successful candidate will also have a commitment to teamwork, and organizational skills with attention to detail, thoroughness, excellent communication, and practical decision-making.

Qualifications:
โ€ข Master's degree (Preferred)
โ€ข Experience as a teaching assistant or instructor at an accredited institution of higher learning (preferred)
โ€ข Evidence of effective use of computer technology
โ€ข Demonstrated experience in online and/or distance learning, as well as curriculum design and implementation in higher education is a plus
โ€ข Desire to work with a diverse faculty, staff, and student body
