OUR PROPERTY MANAGER POSITION
The primary focus for our Property Manager position is to plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Revitz House Property Manager's Office in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern our facility. This position reports to and receives direction from the Revitz House Administrator.

LOCATION
This position is based at Revitz House, our affordable living residence located at 6111 Montrose Road in Rockville, Maryland. Revitz House currently has 239 residents.
SHIFTS & STATUS
This is a FULL TIME, EXEMPT position with hours from 9:00AM to 5:30PM.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee accounts payable; ensure on-time rent collection; process monthly Section 8 voucher.
  • Direct building maintenance and plant operations. Conduct monthly building inspections. Generate work tickets to maintain up-keep of building.
  • Oversee the efficient turnover of apartment units.
  • Inspect each apartment unit a minimum of once per year.
  • Manage the operation of the Snack Bar as the Certified Food Service Manager in compliance with Montgomery County Health Dept regulations.
  • Serve on, participate in and attend various committees of the facility as appointed.
  • Attend scheduled department staff meetings to assist in identifying and correcting problem areas and/or the improvement of service.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent; B.A. in Human Services preferred.
  • Two (2) years housing/property management experience, preferably in senior housing.
  • Two (2) years supervisory experience with basic office management responsibilities.
  • Two (2) years of experience working with the public
