Now Hiring: Teacher of the Visually Impaired (Spanish) | Tennessee

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to provide standards-based instruction to students with visual impairments and multiple disabilities. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment, develop and implement IEP-driven lesson plans, adapt curriculum materials, assess student progress, and support students in achieving academic and independent living goals.

Key Responsibilities:

✔ Deliver individualized and small-group instruction aligned with Tennessee State Standards

✔ Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals and student progress

✔ Adapt instructional materials and utilize assistive technology for students with vision loss

✔ Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families to support student success

✔ Maintain accurate documentation, data collection, and progress reporting

✔ Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, school activities, and field trips

Qualifications:

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Education from an accredited institution

✔ Tennessee teaching license (or eligibility for licensure)

✔ Spanish endorsement/certification required

✔ TVI (Teacher of the Visually Impaired) certification preferred, or willingness to obtain certification within 5 years
