DESCRIPTION

Hiring Immediately – Flexible Shifts – Tagalog / Ilocano / Cebuano Speaking Caregivers – Local Eastside Clients

A Place At Home – Kirkland is hiring Tagalog-speaking home caregivers and live-in caregivers with Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Care Aide (HCA) credentials who want meaningful, stable work supporting Filipino seniors in their homes across the Eastside.

We are seeing growing demand from Filipino families across Bellevue, Redmond, Sammamish, Bothell, Woodinville, and Kirkland for caregivers who can talk with Lolo and Lola in their native language, prepare familiar home-style Filipino meals, and care for them with the warmth and respect they're used to.

If you speak Tagalog, Ilocano, Cebuano/Bisaya, Kapampangan, or another Philippine language and have your CNA or HCA credentials, we want to talk to you.

Pay: $24–$28 per hour

  • Competitive hourly rate (DOE)

  • Mileage reimbursement & paid drive time between clients

  • 1.5x holiday differential pay on major holidays

  • Caregiver/client referral bonus

  • Weekly direct deposit

  • 20+ hours/week opportunities available for experienced caregivers, CNAs, and HCAs

Who We're Looking For

We welcome passionate home care caregivers who are:

  • Conversational or fluent in Tagalog (required); Ilocano, Cebuano/Bisaya, or other Philippine languages a plus

  • Compassionate and dependable

  • Experienced (1 year preferred)

  • CNA or HCA certified in Washington State, OR currently enrolled in HCA/CNA coursework

  • Comfortable preparing home-style Filipino meals when requested — arroz caldo, sinigang, adobo, lugaw, tinola, and other familiar comfort foods

  • Respectful of cultural and religious practices in the home (daily prayer and rosary routines, Sunday Mass, family gatherings, and traditions of respect for elders)

  • Able to pass a background check

  • At least 18 years of age, with two positive work references

  • Capable of assisting with ADLs

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record

What You'll Do

As a caregiver / CNA / HCA supporting Filipino clients, you will support seniors with:

  • Companionship and conversation in Tagalog or their preferred language

  • Bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting

  • Meal prep — including home-style Filipino dishes when requested — and medication reminders

  • Light housekeeping, with respect for prayer spaces and household customs

  • Transportation to medical appointments, church, Filipino grocery stores, and errands

  • Creating a safe, comfortable, culturally familiar home environment

  • Perform specialized care engagement programs we designed
