Position Overview:

We are looking for someone to join our human resources team. This role plays a key part in creating a positive onboarding experience for new hires while ensuring compliance with federal employment eligibility requirements. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-service oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting employees across multiple U.S. locations.

Key Responsabilities:

  • Coordinate and support the onboarding process for newly hired employees.
  • Review onboarding documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness before employees begin work.
  • Conduct virtual employment verification meetings with new hires.
  • Complete and verify Form I-9 in compliance with USCIS regulations.
  • Ensure all required employment documents are collected, validated, and properly filed.
  • Monitor I-9 completion timelines and maintain compliance with federal requirements.
  • Perform regular audits of onboarding and I-9 documentation to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Follow up with employees and hiring managers regarding missing or incomplete documentation.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS - isolved).
  • Respond to employee questions regarding onboarding, employment verification, and required documentation.
  • Partner with recruiters, hiring managers, and HR team members to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Assist with process improvements and administrative projects within the Human Resources department.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when handling employee information and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Must be bilingual (English - Spanish) written and spoken (Required)
  • Professional degree in Business Administration or related fields.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience working with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong customer service mindset and problem-solving skills.
