About the Role

We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Hip Hop Educator to join our growing team and lead after-school Hip Hop programs for elementary and middle school students. This role is ideal for instructors who are passionate about dance, enjoy working with children, and are committed to creating a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

In this role, you will:
  • Teach age-appropriate Hip Hop dance techniques and choreography to students from Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 8th grade
  • Ensure student safety and well-being at all times
  • Foster confidence, creativity, self-expression, and teamwork through dance
  • Plan and lead engaging Hip Hop classes and movement-based activities
  • Adapt instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning styles
  • Facilitate positive social interactions and encourage teamwork
  • Effectively manage student behavior using positive reinforcement
  • Maintain accurate attendance and incident records
  • Prepare and organize activity materials, keeping spaces clean and safe
    Schedule: Tuesday or Thursday from 3:45-4:45 PM at Glick Middle School (September 8, 2026-May 25, 2027) or a substitute position Monday-Friday from 3:30-4:30 PM (August 17-December 14, 2026).
    Hourly Pay Rate: $50

Requirements

  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability and willingness to complete 3 hours of online training prior to the start date. (Concussion Training, Mandated Reporter, First Aid & CPR)
  • Authorization to work in the US
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
