• Conduct thorough assessments of families and couples to identify dynamics and issues affecting their relationships.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities to develop treatment plans that address the unique needs of each family.
• Facilitate family sessions, ensuring a safe space for members to express their concerns and work toward resolution.
• Educate clients about the impacts of behaviors and thought patterns on family dynamics, promoting awareness and understanding.
• Assist clients in processing emotions related to grief, loss, and major life transitions, employing techniques to foster resilience.
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, providing referrals to specialists as needed to enhance treatment.
• Document progress meticulously, adhere to ethical guidelines, and comply with all state licensing requirements.

Your primary focus will be on families and couples experiencing challenges in communication, conflict resolution, and emotional well-being. You will work closely with clients from varied cultural backgrounds, ensuring that therapy is culturally competent and responsive to the unique needs of each family system. Your role will be essential in cultivating healthier relationships, improving parenting practices, and promoting overall family stability.

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related mental health field.
• Current licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California, in compliance with all state regulations.
• Proven experience providing therapy to families and couples, with documented success in facilitating positive outcomes.
• Understanding of therapeutic best practices and evidence-based approaches, including but not limited to cognitive behavioral and systemic therapy.
• Exemplary communication skills, both verbal and written, with a compassionate and empathetic disposition toward clients.

• Previous experience in a remote therapeutic setting, utilizing telehealth platforms effectively.
• Advanced training in family systems therapy or specialized certifications pertinent to specific populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, sharing insights and strategies for enhanced client care.
