Technical ConsultantJob Description


The Technical Consultant will work to create complex technological supply chain solutions using the latest software languages and practices in a fast-paced work environment. The candidate must be driven, accountable, and analytical with a background in supply chain software. This position will work closely with and report to a Manager. The position will be primarily focused on software development, implementation, and providing technological solutions for clients by developing and modifying custom solutions. The position will also include direct client interaction.


Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in computer scienceor related
  • 1-3 years of experience in developing supply chain software
  • Flexibility to travel up to 50%
  • Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environment
  • Experience in large scale web application development
  • Experience inhigh level programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript)
  • Experience in Frameworks/systems (e.g. DJango, Spring)
  • Experience with databases and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
  • Ability and willingness to learn new languages and technologies


Preferred skills:


  • Strong fundamental knowledge of supply chain concepts, with a primary focus on distribution applications.
  • Continuous Integration,Continuous Deployment and cloud development is a big plus.
  • Hands-on working knowledge of any of the following warehouse management applications is a plus
