Job description

Job Duties:

Design/analyze/engineer/architect large scale distributed (cloud and hybrid cloud) transformations of legacy systems to custom Guidewire enabled systems for a broad range of insurance products using Guidewire as a solutioning platform. Lead a team of integration engineers serving as the Guidewire subject matter expert from pre-sales through delivery applying deep knowledge as a Guidewire Certified Advanced Certified Expert (ACE); serve as a bridge between the sales and delivery team; lead, manage and mentor a team through the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, analysis, systems design and innovation; assign tasks and manage implementation of the IT solutions addressing complex business issues; evaluate and recommend tools, technologies and processes to ensure the highest quality product platform; analyze and control the architecture for the future releases and create unified engineering/architectural standards across the project; evaluate team member performance helping to build competency and delivery excellence; manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture; collaborate with quality assurance team; train end users on the new systems or on the enhanced features. Employee will work on project assignments within the US ranging between several months to several years at sites which cannot be anticipated in advance. Telecommuting may be possible in some instances. Multiple positions available

Degree and Experience Required:

Bachelor' s degree in Computer Science, Computer Systems, Engineering, Information Technology or related field plus five (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience assisting in the design, architecture and deployment of large scale / enterprise-class (cloud and hybrid cloud) insurance transformations for a diverse range of insurance products (both personal and commercial) using the Guidewire platform, including at least three (3) years as a software lead, managing, mentoring and guiding team members through the entire software development lifecycle SDLC) of digital modernization and cloud transformation.

Special Skills Required:

Must have achieved Guidewire Certified Ace -Insurance Suite Integration Certification at the level Garmisch or higher
