ABOUT THE CANDIDATE / ROLEย
Tradewind Aviation is looking for a full time Scheduled Service Coordinator to be based in person at our office in Oxford, CT.ย
The ideal candidate will have an instinct to anticipate guest's needs to envision a seamless trip from start to finish to produce optimum results.ย We are looking for a friendly, confident, and thoughtful person to bring personal service to every interaction. ย
Responsibilitiesย
- Consistently demonstrate company values with clients and teammatesย
- Be engaged in team meetings and/or training sessions to build your knowledge-base and awareness of company products and initiativesย
- Engage in conversation with our clients while navigating multiple systems and resourcesย
- Accurately book and confirm domestic and international flight reservationsย ย
- Respond to clients' questions and requests via email and phoneย
- Monitor and reply to company instant messaging with remote airport handlers and interdepartmental communicationย ย
- Inform guests of flight delays via SMS system and phoneย
- Assist and educate guests of passport and visa requirementsย
- Diplomatically resolve travel-related issuesย
- Pursue resolutions to trip issuesย
- Other duties as assignedย
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 year of customer service experienceย
- Possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (e.g., verbal, written, listening), attention to detail, organizational and time management skillsย
- Talent to de-escalate difficult situations in a calm, professional mannerย
- Self-motivated with the capability to work as part of a close teamย
- Independent problem solverย
- Strong typing skillsย
- Proficient with internet navigation, instant messenger tools, Outlook and Microsoft Officeย
- Capacity to work with frequent changes in procedures, directions, and outcomesย
- Must be flexible to adjust work schedule for seasonality and changes in demandย
- Ability to work non-traditional hours to include evenings, holidays, and weekendsย
- Open to receive coaching feedback through regular meetings and apply learningsย
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 15 lbs. at times
