Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction sets us apart, and we're looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Service Drive Inspection Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary:
The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, fluid checks, and replacing filters on vehicles. The role requires an individual who is knowledgeable about automotive maintenance and works effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Lube Technician ensures that all tasks are performed safely and in accordance with company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oil Changes & Lubrication:
  • Drain and replace engine oil, oil filters, and perform lubrication of key parts.
  • Ensure the proper type and amount of oil is used in each vehicle.
  • Fluid Checks and Maintenance:
  • Inspect and top off fluids such as brake fluid, transmission fluid, coolant, and power steering fluid.
  • Perform basic vehicle inspections and identify issues related to fluids and lubricants.
  • Inspection & Minor Repairs:
  • Inspect the vehicle's undercarriage, brakes, belts, and hoses for signs of wear and tear.
  • Identify potential mechanical issues and report them to senior technicians or service advisors.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Safety:
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
  • Follow proper safety protocols while working with hazardous materials, such as motor oil and lubricants.
  • Adhere to OSHA guidelines and environmental laws regarding the disposal of waste oil and fluids.
  • Cleanliness and Organization:
  • Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards.
  • Ensure all workstations are stocked with necessary supplies and tools.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; automotive certification or training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in automotive inspection, service advising, or related field preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of automotive systems.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
