Job description

Founded in 1985, Fairfax Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is the premier oral surgery group in Northern Virginia. We are a 100% privately owned, surgeon-led, multi-location practice offering the full scope of OMS. Our model is built for productivity, clinical autonomy, and long-term wealth creation-not corporate oversight.

With five established locations (Alexandria, Burke, Centreville, Reston, and Woodbridge), a strong referral base, and modern infrastructure, our surgeons operate at a high level with full support and zero administrative friction.

We are actively seeking an experienced oral surgeon-especially those currently in DSO or corporate-backed environments-who is looking to regain control of their practice, increase income potential, and build real equity.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Guarantee (Year 1): $400,000 guaranteed

Production Model (Year 2+): High-percentage, collection-based compensation
Realistic Earnings: $600,000-$1M+

* No collection caps or hidden thresholds
* No pressure to overtreat or hit quotas
* Strong surgical volume and implant case flow from day one
* You control your clinical decisions and pace

Continuing Education: $5,000 annual CE/CME allowance

Insurance & Benefits:
* Health, dental, and vision
* Malpractice (OMSNIC)
* Licensure, DEA, and dues covered

Retirement:
* 401(k) with employer match + profit-sharing

Time Off:
* 4 weeks PTO (includes 1 week CE) + holidays

Why Surgeons Leave DSOs for Us

* Full clinical autonomy - no corporate protocols dictating care
* No production pressure - focus on doing the right treatment
* Higher income ceiling - paid on what you produce, not what's allowed
* Established referral base - not dependent on internal marketing funnels
* Efficient operations - no layers of management slowing you down
* Transparent financials - you understand exactly how you're paid

If you're producing well but feel constrained, over-managed, or capped, this is a direct upgrade.

Path to Partnership

Eligibility after one year based on performance and alignment.

* Fair market value buy-in
* Flexible structure
* Full participation in profits and decision-making

This is real ownership-not a title.

Support for Surgeons

We've built the infrastructure so you can focus on surgery:

* In-house billing team focused on maximizing collections
* Dedicated marketing team driving patient and referral growth
* OR coordination for hospital-based cases
* Experienced clinical and administrative teams across all locations
