What does a higher ed admissions professional do?

Higher ed admissions professionals are responsible for managing the process of admitting students to colleges and universities. Their work includes reviewing applications, evaluating transcripts and test scores, conducting interviews, and making decisions about which students are offered admission. They also provide information to prospective students and families, represent their institution at recruitment events, and help guide applicants through the admissions process. Additionally, they often collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for new students.
